ENDOCRINOLOGY 
The term "endocrinology" came from the Greek word "endo", meaning within, "krino" - to separate and "logia" - study. It is a branch of medicine which deals with the endocrine sytem and its diseases and also the physiological functions of the hormones which is secreted by the endocrine glands. In addition, it also studies about the integration of developmental events such as proliferation and growth.

TOXICOLOGY
This term came from the Greek word "toxicos", which means poisonous, and "logus" - to study. It's primary concern is on how certain chemicals would affect the body of an organism by means of studying its symptoms to aid for the detection of poisoning.
 
DRUG TESTING
Drug testing helps determine the presence or absence of a specified parent drug or their metabolites. It is being performed worlwide, just like in certain events, like sports, which can help trace players who uses steroids to enhance their performance or for the detection of prohibited drugs such as heroin and cocaine. Specimens which are often used for drug testing is urine, blood and saliva but there are other specimens which can be tested.
